The UNIVERTOR series is a turning machine concept for high-precision and flexible production. The pick-up turning spindle is centrally located in the middle of the X-slide. This ensures an optimum distribution of cutting forces, which is a prerequisite for very accurate turning results, especially with heavy machining. During complete machining with the double-spindle pick-up lathe, the front and rear sides of a workpiece are machined. The workpiece is turned in the center.
